McColgan’s Foods
Operating since 1940 and based in Strabane, McColgan’s produces a wide range of baked goods for distribution throughout Ireland, Great Britain and Europe. As well as producing items under their own branding, they also produce for outlets including Iceland and Lidl. They moved to their current site in 1983 and upgraded production facilities in two stages: the first in 2010 and the second in 2014.
As a company, McColgan’s encourages local talent through investment and development of staff. They currently employ approximately 240 people across a wide variety of roles in areas such as marketing, engineering, human resources, finance and manufacturing.
